WHAT WE BELIEVE

- The Bible - The Bible is the Word of God and His manual for us to living Righteous Lives. (2 Timothy 3:16, 17 Romans 15:4) One True Living GodThe only One True Living God is the Creator of the Heavens and Earth whom has revealed Himself as I AM WHO I AM. Furthermore, He has revealed Himself in three distinct persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4, Isaiah 43:10, 11; Mark 12:29). - Jesus Christ - Jesus Christ is God and was born man of his free will, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a final and perfect sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. We believe that we have been cleansed and redeemed by the Precious Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. Furthermore, we believe that He rose from the dead, ascended into heaven where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our High Priest and Advocate. The blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provides the only grounds for salvation for all who believe by faith are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God. We also believe in the return of Jesus Christ and His promise of Eternal Life. - Baptism in Christ - We believe in the baptism in the Body of Christ, by which the person accepts Jesus, has a new birth and then becomes a partaker of the body of Christ and his eternal life. Therefore, whosoever believes, by the command of Jesus, He who believes will be baptized by immersion in the waters. As you do this, your body is washed as an exterior symbol of cleanliness, while the blood of Christ as well as an interior cleansing that has rinsed your heart. In this manner, you declare to the world that you have died with Jesus and that you have been cleaned by Him. (Matt 28:19; Acts 10:47,48; 21:23; Heb. 10:22) - Baptism in the Holy Spirit - The total consummation of the baptism to the believers in the Holy Spirit can be demonstrated by the physical sign initiated in the ability to speak in different tongues according to the inspiration of the Spirit. (Acts 2:14; 19:4-6; 10:44-46) We recognize that God has provided the gift of the tongue of the prayer for the purpose of interceding, praising and communication with God. Through this Baptism we receive the authority and boldness to spread the good news of the Kingdom of God. |
-Five Fold Ministries- We believe in the five fold ministries as revealed in Ephesians 4:11 which are as follows: Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher. - The Apostolic Government - We believe in establishing the apostolic government in the local church with all five ministries in function. (Ephesians 4:11, Acts 14:23) - The Healing & Delivering Power of God - We believe in the power of the Kingdom to heal the sick and that evil does exist but does not have authority over us unless we give evil access. Thus said, we believe that Jesus gave us the power to cast out the demons. (Mt 12:28) - The Faith - We believe that without faith it is impossible to live a life that pleases the Lord and that through it we will inherit the promises. (Heb 11:6) - The Great Commission - We believe in the expansion of the Kingdom in a local form national and International through all means possible. (Matt 24:14) - Holy Unity - We believe that marriage is a Holy covenant given from God in which only a man and a woman shall be joined together where the two will unite and become one flesh. (Gen 2:24) - Laying of Hands - We believe that through the laying of Hands we impart blessings, healing and power. (Acts 8:15-20, 1 Timothy 4:14, 2 Timothy 1:6) |
